This report will have Arrowverse fans excited! The CW has seemingly ordered new seasons for all of its DC TV series. These include Arrow (Season 8), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 5), The Flash (Season 6), and last but not least, Supergirl (Season 5). Black Lightning (Season 3) will also be getting a new season but, as you know, this one isn’t part of the Arrowverse yet.
All of the DC shows on The CW have accumulated high praise and fans during the years. Following their success, the crossover events between the series came along as a way to unite these characters in powerful and interesting storylines. It’s no wonder that since 2014 we’ve had seven crossovers between them going from Flash vs. Arrow all the way to last year’s Elseworlds; its also rumored that the next one in line may very well be the classic DC story arc Crisis On Infinite Earths.
Also, a recent poll conducted by Screenrant and data company Parrot Analytics showed us that The Flash was the most popular show of 2018 followed by Supergirl in the third place, Arrow in the fourth place, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow in seventh place and Black Lightning in the tenth. To the surprise of Marvel fans, these shows did better than Daredevil, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D and The Punisher all around.
The current seasons of each of these shows are expected to finish sometime between April and May. Which show are you most excited for? Comment down below!
Arrow airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m., The Flash airs on Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m., and Supergirl airs on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
