While fans are still reeling from the ending to Crisis On Infinite Earths, The CW revealed the first footage from their backdoor pilot for Green Arrow and The Canaries which follows Mia Queen, Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake as they team up to track down a kidnapping victim in Star City. Mia realises she has to become the hero her Father once was and become the Green Arrow. The pilot will be the ninth episode of Arrow‘s final season.
The new footage from Green Arrow and The Canaries reveals how the team are assembled, with Laurel Lance being the one to bring the trio together. More importantly it seems that Mia Queen has forgotten the events of her past and is seemingly given a new social status thanks to the events of Crisis On Infinite Earths. Once Laurel brings Mia’s memories back, she suits up as the Green Arrow once again. There’s also a brief glimpse of someone wearing a Deathstroke mask, so it seems that the iconic villain or his gang will have some role to play in the plot. Take a look at the first footage from Green Arrow and The Canaries below.
