‘Arrow’: Stephen Amell Confirms Deathstroke’s Return

Stephen Amell dropped some teasers for Arrow season six. The actor, who plays Oliver Queen on the show, appeared this weekend at the Heroes and Villains FanFest in Nashville. He confirmed that Deathstroke will be returning to Arrow in season six and that he’ll appear on a more regular basis and not just in one episode.

“I can report that Manu Bennett is back to being a part of the show and I think we will see him multiple times this year, which is awesome.”

That’s exciting news for Arrow fans. We last saw Bennett’s Deathstroke when he helped Oliver defeat Prometheus on Lian Yu. In addition to Deathstroke’s return, Amell also mentioned that we might be seeing another familiar face returning to the fold.

“We have somebody returning to the show this year that we have not seen since Season 1.”

In terms of other events happening on the show this year, Amell confirmed that we’ll finally be seeing Oliver get his place to live, which is nice seeing as how we actually haven’t seen his place of residence since he and Felicity split up.

And apparently, the flashbacks will continue being a part of Arrow, even though the show has circled back after its five year journey.

“They are a part of the shows DNA. I would expect to see them on a relatively regular basis.”

Arrow will return to The CW on Thursday, October 12 at 9/8c.
