‘Arrow’ Star Stephen Amell Apologizes To Dave Bautista For WrestleMania Comments

Arrow star Stephen Amell has apologized to Dave Bautista for his comments about the wrestler-turned-actor’s Wrestlemania 35 match.

Stephen Amell became a huge star after starring in the hit television show Arrow which launched spin-off shows The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and now the upcoming Batwoman series. The show established a new formula for interconnected storylines among comic book characters and has amassed eight seasons. Recently, Stephen Amell got into a bit of a trouble on Twitter after making some comments about Dave Bautista’s Wrestlemania 35 match. The Arrow star has since apologized and cleared things out. Here’s what he had to say to Dave Bautista:

Dave Bautista wasn’t a fan of what the Arrow star said about his match against Triple H. Bautista’s career took off as a wrestler but he has since become a popular actor thanks to James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy and a few other projects. Arrow star Stephen Amell has now explained his side of this story with emphasis on his fandom towards Dave Bautista and how he meant to poke fun at himself this whole time. Now the question that remains is if Drax can be forgiving now that the Green Arrow has come up to apologize.

What do you think about these comments? Do you think Dave Bautista could forgive Stephen Amell in this misunderstanding? Share your thoughts below!

Arrow stars Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Katie Cassidy, Echo Kellum, Juliana Harkavy, Rick Gonzalez, and Colton Haynes.

Arrow airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
