‘Arrow’: Stephen Amell Teases A Surprise Cameo In Season 5 Finale

The Arrow season five finale is getting the old crew back together for what seems like a pretty massive team-up. Of course, the goal is to take down Adrian Chase once and for all. The last thing we saw in the penultimate episode was Oliver Queen back on Lian Yu, in the midst of trying to save his kidnapped team and asking for help from his old enemy, Deathstroke.

Actor Stephen Amell took to Twitter to tease an upcoming surprise cameo. This person will apparently be appearing in the season finale, but who it will be is anyone’s guess. Below is Amell’s vague tweet regarding the cameo.

Already, we’ve seen Malcolm Merlyn and Nyssa Al Ghul return. Deathstroke will be there as well and Talia Al Ghul will be back. So who could this mystery person be? Roy Harper could be likely. That’s the first person who comes to mind.

You can read the season finale synopsis below:

“Lian Yu” – (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DEATHSTROKE, NYSSA AL GHUL, MERLYN AND DIGGER HARKNESS JOIN OLIVER’S BATTLE AGAINST PROMETHEUS – The battle between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) culminates in a final epic battle on Lian Yu. After recent events, Oliver decides to recruit a group of unlikely allies – Slade (guest star Manu Bennett), Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law), Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Digger Harkness (guest star Nick. E. Tarabay) – to defeat Chase. However, Chase has his own army – Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy), Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin) and Talia al Ghul (guest star Lexa Doig) – and the forces collide in an explosive season finale. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Marc Guggenheim (#523). Original airdate 5/24/2017.”

Arrow’s season five will air on Wednesday, May 24 at 8/7c on The CW.
