‘Arrow’s Susanna Thompson Set To Return For 100th Episode

Arrow’s 100th episode, which is currently filming in Vancouver, Canada as part of the big crossover event with The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, is looking to be quite the milestone episode. Entertainment Weekly revealed today that Susanna Thompson, who played Moira Queen, mother of Oliver and Thea, is set to reprise her role in the 100th episode.

While it wasn’t revealed how she will be returning, as her character on Earth-1 was killed by Deathstroke in Season 2, give that Marc Guggenheim tweeted last week that Robert Queen is returning while adding the caption “No Flashpoint. No Flashbacks”, there are only a few other ways that she could be appearing.

Either it’s in Ghost form, time travel or perhaps this isn’t even the Earth-1 version we are meeting, as ti could possibly be Moira of Earth-2 or some Earth in the Multiverse. The main speculation for Robert’s return in the episode is that he is debuting as the Earth-2 version who is the Green Arrow in his world. We also know that Katie Cassidy, now a series regular on 3 out of the 4 DC TV shows, will be appearing in this milestone too as some version of Laurel Lance. The 100th episode will most likely air in late November or early December.

Arrow Season 5 is set to premiere on Wednesday, October 5 at 8/7c on The CW.
