Arrowverse Crossover Adds Cassandra Jean Amell as Mr. Freeze’s Wife

The Arrowverse is adding another Amell into the mix with Cassandra Jean Amell, wife of Arrow star Stephen Amell, joining The CW’s mega-crossover event this year as Nora Fires, the wife of classic Batman villain Mr. Freeze.

While the actress will appear as Nora Fries, Mr. Freeze himself will not be appearing in the Arrowverse crossover event this fall, TV Line has confirmed.

Plot details for the crossover remain under wraps, however, this year’s event will see the introductions of both Batwoman (played by Ruby Rose) and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane along with the return of Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman who previously made his debut on Supergirl.

Arrow stars Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Katie Cassidy, Echo Kellum, Juliana Harkavy, Rick Gonzalez, and Colton Haynes.

There has been no shortage of close calls for Oliver Queen when it comes to protecting his Super Hero identity, but in the season six finale, he was finally backed into a corner and forced to reveal himself to the world as the Green Arrow. Now, Oliver will come face-to-face with many of the criminals he placed behind bars, as he makes a new home for himself at Slabside Maximum Security Prison. Oliver will find himself vulnerable in a way unlike ever before when a mysterious new enemy begins to unravel his work as Green Arrow, challenging him to redeem his name or risk losing everything.

Arrow season 7 premieres on October 15 at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
