Since 2011, The CW’s Arrowverse has been bringing iconic DC characters and stories to the small screen in exciting ways. This last December, the Arrowverse crossed over in an epic Elseworlds event that featured a massive rewriting of the timeline by treacherous forces. That wasn’t the only exciting thing that DC fans had to look forward to in December though. It was in that same month that DC Universe’s first original series Titans wrapped up its first season.
The live-action adaptation of the Teen Titans comic ran for eleven episodes on the DC Universe streaming service and will be the first of many, including the upcoming spin-off Doom Patrol. While fans fell in love with the heroes of Titans, it seems that they won’t be able to see them fighting alongside the Arrowverse heroes any time soon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Pedowitz revealed during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour that an Arrowverse/Titans crossover is not on the horizon. However, Pedowitz did have something to say about what would happen if a crossover were in the works.
“I’ll know.”
Although Titans and the Arrowverse won’t be crossing over, both universes will be expanding in exciting ways in the coming future. The pilot for the Ruby Rose-starring Batwoman series is currently in the works while DC Universe fans will soon be getting Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Stargirl, Harley Quinn, and of course, the second season of Titans on the streaming service.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Titans and the Arrowverse as soon as more information becomes available. Would you like to see the two worlds collide?
