For Arthur Curry, life on the surface has been…well, it’s been an experience. That’s the best way to describe it, really. Came across some unique and super powered individuals, fought Steppenwolf, and even had to deal with a billionaire reminding him that he talks to fish. And while we got a bit of Arthur’s history in Justice League during his brief conversation with Mera, James Wan’s upcoming Aquaman film will expand upon what Justice League introduced, but also give us a look at the world of Atlantis.
Indeed, many of the images, trailers, and TV spots have painted Atlantis as a majestic underwater world. Perfect when you’re the king of the seven seas, right? Well, after Arthur’s adventures on land, he’s now headed back to Atlantis, and that world is calling out to him in a newly released poster for the film showcasing both Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry and Amber Heard’s Mera. Here, have a look at poster for yourself in the image below:
As you can see, both Mera and Arthur are ready for the adventure ahead of them and clad in their classic comic designs. Indeed, it seems that James Wan’s Aquaman is set to make a huge splash when it hits theaters in a little over a month from now, at least in the States, and a bit earlier everywhere else in the world. So in other words, you better be prepared to avoid spoilers if you want to go in as blind as possible.
