Ava DuVernay Shares New Tease For DC’s ‘New Gods’ Film

Ava DuVernay known for her work on Selma and A Wrinkle in Time has given comic book fans an update for her upcoming film The New Gods through her official Twitter page. DuVernay teased fans by sharing an image of the titular characters letting fans be assured that the film is in development.

This will surely excite fans of the characters as it confirms the film is really happening and gives another glimpse as to what characters could appear in the film. Here in the image, we can see Highfather, Big Barda, and Orion in the front.

Directed by Ava DuVernay with a script from Kario Salem The New Gods has not yet released a full cast list or synopsis.

Warner Bros. and DC Films has many other projects in development including The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, BatgirlBirds of Prey, and a Joker origin movie set outside of the DCEU.
