Robert Downey Jr.’s unveiling of Audi’s E-Tron GT concept at a private event before the L.A Auto Show prompted speculation that the new vehicle would be included in the fourth Avengers film. Now, Audi has confirmed that they have partnered with Marvel Studios to debut the E-Tron GT in the highly-anticipated Avengers 4.
This won’t be the first time an Audi vehicle has appeared in a Marvel Studios film as the Audi R8 was featured in the first Iron Man film. Furthermore, the R8 Spyder was featured in Iron Man 2 while the R8 E-Tron was included in the third film.
A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers 4 is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.
Avengers 4 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 3, 2019.
