Avengers star Chris Evans expressed his excitement for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place sequel on social media.

Yesterday, John Krasinski announced production on A Quiet Place: Part II was officially complete on his official Twitter account. The post was accompanied by a photo featuring John Krasinski and his wife Emily Blunt, who will reprise her role Evelyn Abbott from the first A Quiet Place film, and caught the attention of Avengers star Chris Evans.

In a post of his official Twitter account, Avengers star Chris Evans let John Krasinski know that he is excited for A Quiet Place: Part II. In a retweet of John Krasinski’s original post, Avengers star Chris Evans simply wrote: “Can’t wait!!”

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame marked Chris Evans’ final appearance as Captain America in a live-action feature film. The fourth Avengers film concluded with Chris Evans’ Captain America retiring and passing the mantle to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson after returning to past to live out his life with Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter.

A Quiet Place followed a family’s struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by extraterrestrial creatures with an acute sense of hearing, which forced humans to remain silent in order to avoid becoming prey. The story concluded with Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbot preparing to take on the creatures as they invaded the home she took shelter in with her children and husband (who sacrificed himself to save his family) after discovering a way to defeat them.

Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place: Part II stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Djimon Hounsou.

A Quiet Place: Part II is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 20, 2020.
