Here’s What ‘Avengers’ Star Chris Pratt Looks Like As Mortal Kombat’s Johnny Cage

Popular fan artist BossLogic has given Mortal Kombat fans an idea of what Avengers star Chris Pratt would look like as Johnny Cage in a feature film adaptation of the fighting game franchise.

Mortal Kombat is one of the most successful video game franchises of all time and the feature film adaptation that released in 1995 is still held by fans in regard as one of the best video game adaptations ever made. After the sequel Mortal Kombat: Annihilation — the franchise stalled out and the fighting game has never been as popular as it was in the mid-’90s.

Despite recent rumors of an animated film being in development, fans are still waiting for news on the live-action reboot of the film. Aquaman director, who is producing the project gave fans an update while promoting the latest DC superhero film, assuring fans the search was still on for the right filmmaker to direct while the script was still being developed. Oren Uziel, the screenwriter of the original script for the Mortal Kombat reboot which previously teased that his adaptation of the violent video game was an R-rated version of The Avengers.
