‘Avengers: Infinity War’: Dave Bautista Refused To Read Full Script

Avengers: Infinity War promises to be an exciting and dramatic turning point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and one cast member from the film wants to be as surprised as the rest of us when the movie hits theaters.

Dave Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as in Avengers: Infinity War, responded to a fan’s question on Twitter asking about his reaction to Infinity War‘s script. Check out the tweet below for his full response:

It is cool to see that Bautista is as much of a fan as the audience and that he had such will power to not devour the script when he had the chance!

Of course, Drax did promise revenge on Thanos in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, so it is possible that in the scenes he did read that plotline may have come up.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Tom Hiddleston, Tessa Thompson, Benicio Del Toro, Danai Gurira and Josh Brolin.

You can catch Drax along with the rest of the Guardians in Avengers: Infinity War when the film hits theaters on May 4, 2018.
