Fans who have seen Ant-Man and the Wasp might remember that last we saw the size-shifting Marvel icon, he was trapped in the Quantum Realm after Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) fell victim to Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) devastating snap. Yesterday, the highly anticipated trailer for Avengers: Endgame finally dropped. The trailer raised many questions, one of which regarding Scott Lang’s, aka Ant-Man, escape from the Quantum Realm.
The explanation for the hero’s escape goes unexplained in the trailer but one fan on Twitter noticed something even stranger. Earlier in the Avengers: Endgame trailer, Scott Lang appears as “Missing” in a list of post-snap heroes who have gone unaccounted for. It turns out that the headshot used for Lang is the second image that appears when you Google image search Paul Rudd. Check out the Tweet below to see the hilarious discovery.
Ant-Man was one of the MCU characters missing from Avengers: Infinity War, but will now be playing a prominent role in Endgame. Missing Avenger Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), aka Hawkeye, also made an appearance. Though in the trailer, fans of the comics may recognize his new attire and choice of weapon as being inspired by his transformation into the character Ronin in the Marvel comics.
