Reddit user marvel20geek has a new theory that points to Black Widow’s hair as evidence that there will be a time jump in Avengers: Endgame.

Fans have been theorizing that a significant amount of time will have passed between the conclusion of Infinity War and the beginning of Avengers: Endgame since witnessing Thanos’ decimation. However, a new theory proposes that the fourth Avengers film will pick-up immediately after the infamous snap and that a time jump of a few years or months will occur during the film.

The user who posted this theory notes that when discussing the consequences of Thanos’ decimation, Black Widow’s hair seems to be in the exact same style as it was in Infinity War. However, when Black Widow confronts Hawkeye, her hair seems to be braided and long. If this observation is correct, it can be assumed that a considerable amount of time has passed between the conversation in Avengers headquarters and Hawkeye’s return.

Finally, the user reminds fans of the concept art featuring Black Widow with her familiar red and long hair, perhaps more proof that enough time passes in the film for her hair to grow.
