‘Avengers: Endgame’ TV Spot Reveals New Comic-Accurate Suit For Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel

The latest Avengers: Endgame TV spot reveals a new comic-accurate costume for Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel.

Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel marked the debut of Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers and the acclaimed actress will soon reprise her role in Avengers: Endgame, where the heroine will join Earth’s Mightiest Heroes for a rematch against Thanos. Now, the latest Avengers: Endgame TV spot offers fans a quick glimpse at Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel in action with what appears to be a new suit that more closely resembles the comic book outfit worn by Mar-Vell.

In the comics, Mar-Vell is the first hero to use the Captain Marvel moniker and was sent to Earth to determine whether or not the inhabitants posed a threat to the Kree empire. Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel film re-imagined Mar-Vell as a female hero, played by Annette Benning, who posed a scientist on Earth and worked to create a jet engine that could help Skrull refugees escape the Kree’s wrath, though the character was never shown in the iconic costume.

Avengers: Endgame will serve as both a follow up to Avengers: Infinity War as well as the conclusion to the 22 films that came before it before Marvel kicks off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.

Here is the plot synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers:Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we learn it.
