‘Avengers: Endgame’: Captain America Chainmail Suit Imagined In New Artwork

Captain America gets his long-awaited chainmail suit, which we’ll see in Avengers: Endgame, in new fan-made artwork.

We’ve already seen Steve Rogers wearing all sorts of costume variations for his Captain America suit on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He started out wearing a leather jacket and the helmet of his silly costume in Captain America: The First Avenger, then we saw him owning that costume in Avengers, only to ditch it and grabbing a brand new suit in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In Captain America: Civil War he wore a brand new Avengers suit and, after his falling out with Tony Stark, he eventually wore it out when we last saw him in Infinity War to remind us that he was a different kind of man.

Now we’re expected to see him wear his brand new chainmail suit in Avengers: Endgame later in April. Although we’ve already seen some of the promotional pictures for the film with Rogers wearing his new suit, prolific fan-made artwork is still trying to imagine him with it. Instagram digital artist Yadvender Singh Rana or ultraraw26 on Instagram shared this picture featuring some of the Cap’s most iconic looks:

Steve Rogers has been around long enough in the MCU for him to have a very interesting character arc. First, he thought that Nazis and Red Skull were the ultimate threat, then he realized that S.H.I.E.L.D. was compromised by Hydra and left to rely only on the Avengers. Once more he was disappointed when Tony Stark disagreed with him on how superheroes should operate in the world. And, lastly, he was once again humbled by their catastrophic defeat at the hands of Thanos and realizing that they fell because the Avengers were disassembled.
