Avengers: Endgame presented the MCU with an interesting new tool: time travel and the ability to jump between different timelines. Obviously, certain members in the MCU such as Doctor Strange were already able to harness such abilities, but this was the first time in the MCU that this technology was used by relatively mortal people like Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff.
Ever since Disney purchased Fox, fans have been looking forward to how Marvel Studios president Kevin Fiege and co. would integrate the MCU with Fox’s Marvel properties like Deadpool. A fan theory over on Reddit suggests that the perfect way to bring Deadpool and Cable into the MCU would be through the time-travel bracelet that Tony Stark and co. helped created in Avengers: Endgame.
If Cable would find the device buried underneath the Avengers campus, Deadpool 2 would easily be tied into MCU with minimal effort. While it is certainly convenient, it would make for a perfect situation for Deadpool to mock once he joins the MCU. Currently, there are no details regarding how Fox properties such as Deadpool will be linked to the MCU, but we’ll keep you updated as news trickles out.
