Fan Theory Suggests Dimension-Hopping In ‘Avengers: Endgame’

It’s that time again. Fan theories for Avengers: Endgame. Like Infinity War, it seems that everyone in the world has an idea or theory for how the Russo Brothers will tackle the next Avengers film.

The theory, put forward by a fan on the Marvel Studios Subreddit, states that there will be a combination of dimension-hopping and time travel. Eat your heart out, Doc Brown. These alternate dimensions will serve as the gateways for Earth’s remaining Avengers to hop through and recruit other heroes to help with the growing threat. However, if Barry Allen’s history is any indication, it’s that meddling with space and time can lead to greater ramifications from forces beyond your control.

And thus, the Avengers jumping all over time during Endgame would get the attention of an even greater force. The idea then states that the Avengers will team up with Thanos of all beings in order to prevent further destruction. The timeline will be fixed, but lead to major changes across the multiverse. And that’s supposedly where the X-Men make their entrance. But given how there won’t be any mutants in Avengers: Endgame and that both Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants are hitting theaters this year, you can throw out the mutant angle.

More than that, the ramifications of messing with time and space would mess with other realities as well. What this could result in is the arrival of The Living Tribunal. At the end of the day, the heroes of Avengers: Endgame will have to make a choice: contend with the world as is after what Thanos did in Infinity War, change the multiverse, jump across multiple timelines, or join forces with Thanos to prevent a multi-dimensional annihilation. Here, have a look at the theory in the post below:

There's 2 main theories floating around that Endgame will be either Time-Travel or Dimension-Hopping. I have a slightly different theory.

Since it’s all rumor territory, this could be a leap bigger than anything Reed Richards could come up with. But as we don’t know just what the Russos have in store and what surprises may come our way, what do you think of this theory? Does any of it stick or is it all just another fan theory without any concrete proof? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
