The Russo Brothers have officially cemented their legacy with the box office behemoth that is Avengers: Endgame and the directors of the record-breaking superhero film shared their thoughts of gratitude with the fans via Instagram.
A year ago, Avengers: Infinity War hit theaters nationwide and months after the social event of the century, movi goers were still buzzing about the film that forever changed the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Russo Brothers were a big part of that vision that was brought on screen and they were given an almost impossible task afterward, which was to turn it up another level. What they came up with was a bigger and sequel with Avengers: Endgame.
The numbers speak for themselves as Avengers: Endgame has already broken the $1 billion mark worldwide in just four days. The Russo Brothers took to their Instagram account this morning to share their thoughts of gratitude with the fans. Check out their Instagram post below.
Since its birth in 2008 with John Favreau’s Iron Man, the MCU had a built in audience with fans of the popular comic book source material, but along the way the magic of the movies brought more and more fans to take part in the superhero phenomena that followed. The addition of directing talent like the Russo Brothers, James Gunn, Taika Waititi and others added to the exceptional quality of all MCU films that culminated in the epic showdown between heroes and villains in Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame concludes what Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige dubbed as ‘The Infinity Saga’ or what we’ve seen as Thanos’ secret quest for the powerful Infinity Stones. This Saga heavily featured characters like Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Chris Evans’ Captain America and Avengers: Endgame wraps the stories which started with Iron Man way back in 2008.
