‘Avengers: Endgame’ Edit Has Baby Yoda From ‘The Mandalorian’ Save The Day

Star Wars: The Mandalorian‘s little breakout star, Baby Yoda, saves the day in a hilarious Avengers: Endgame edit.

In case you’ve been living under a rock since the end of April, Avengers: Endgame put a cap on 11 years of superhero movies by having heroes from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe assemble to take on Thanos and his armies in the Battle of Earth. The heroes arrive through portals, and since those are easy to edit, fans have taken their cracks at adding new heroes that pop up once the scene was released online in an HD format. These heroes range from characters from DC’s Universe to the title character of The Mandalorian.

One such scenario has Captain America prepare to make a desperate last stand, but he gets a reinforcement. Just one, this time: Baby Yoda. But with the way the edited Endgame clip ends, it seems like Baby Yoda will be more than enough to save the day:

As it stands, Baby Yoda is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about things related to The Mandalorian since the series first made its way onto Disney+. It seems like Disney’s own endgame with this character is going to be to sell as much merchandise of the little guy as possible.

The Mandalorian is set after Return of the Jedi and will explore the Star Wars timeline between the original and sequel trilogies for the first time in live-action. Here’s the official synopsis:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The Mandalorian can only be watched on Disney Plus, which has so far only launched in a few countries. The series is released on a weekly basis, with the first four episodes of eight online. A second season of the Star Wars show is currently filming.
