According to a Deadline article on opening weekend projections, a “credible industry professional” has already seen Avengers: Endgame. The unnamed industry pro claims that the film’s “second half is mind-blowing.”
While that isn’t a lot to go on, this reaction speaks volumes to fans clambering for insight to the film’s quality. Especially since Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that the trailers are only using footage from the beginning of Endgame. This means that we have seen literally nothing of the film’s alleged “mind-blowing” second half.
With a year of endless theories on what will happen in Avengers: Endgame, it’s impossible to know for sure what is going to transpire in the film. From time travel, multiverses and the inclusion of previously Fox-owned characters, there’s no shortage of speculation. But one thing is for sure: whatever happens in Avengers: Endgame is going to be epic.
“The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.”
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.
Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
