‘Avengers: Endgame’ Title Was Revealed In ‘Infinity War’ Soundtrack

Just last week, the highly anticipated trailer for Avengers: Endgame finally released to the public, breaking records, as it is now officially the most viewed trailer in history within 24 hours of its upload, with over 289 million views in total. But, even before the trailer was released, fans were speculating what the title of the film would be. Many people guessed Avengers: Annihilation which turned out to be false. But, the title Endgame was actually in front of our faces this whole entire time, and it requires you to go back to the soundtrack for Avengers: Infinity War to find out how.

Reddit user Cypher25 pointed out something incredibly interesting on the Marvel Studios subreddit, stating “Just realized that there is a track in the Infinity War soundtrack titled “The End Game”. This is without a doubt, an incredibly interesting find by this user.

Similarly, this is not the first hint that Marvel Cinematic Universe fans had regarding the upcoming fourth Avengers film being titled Endgame. Firstly, back in the 2015 film Age of Ultron, while talking to the rest of the team, Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark points up to the sky and says “That up there – that’s the end game”. In addition to this, in this year’s Infinity War, right after Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, saves Iron Man’s life by giving Josh Brolin’s Thanos the Time Stone, Strange states “We’re in the end game now”.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theatres on April 26, 2019, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo with a script from Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, Evangeline Lilly, Jon Favreau, Paul Rudd, and Brie Larson.
