Avengers: Endgame concluded with the funeral of a long-time hero and the identity of one character who attended the service wasn’t clear to many fans. However, the young man in question was a key character in one of the deceased hero’s standalone films.
Avengers: Endgame concluded with nearly every hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe uniting to battle Thanos and his army after the surviving Infinity War heroes successfully brought back everyone who perished in the Mad Titans decimation. However, Thanos nearly retrieved the Infinity Stones from our heroes several times throughout the battle while our heroes tried to return them back in time to their original locations. However, because Thanos destroyed the only means of traveling back in time, Iron Man ultimately chose to sacrifice himself by using the stones to erase the Mad Titan and his forces from existence.
One of the final scenes of the film assembled several key characters for Tony’s funeral and the young man seen standing by himself was Harley Keener, the child who helped Tony Stark in Iron Man 3. In fact, while fans may not have recognized Harley, it was Ty Simpkins who reprised his role for the brief cameo appearance in Avengers: Endgame.
