Which Characters Does Marvel Bring Back For ‘Avengers: Endgame’?

Avengers: Endgame contained a lot of surprise cameos and returning character from previous films and we now know which Marvel characters appear outside of those returning to life from Thanos’ snap!

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME AHEAD!

There are, to put it simply, a lot. It turns out that the vast majority of Avengers: Endgame‘s plot involves time travel which allowed for several characters to make, at the very least a temporary appearance. Through this convoluted time travel plotline, we saw the return of antagonists like Crossbones and Jasper Sitwell. In addition, we were also treated to younger versions of Hank Pym and Howard Stark.

The film also saw the return of Thanos’s entire Black Order who aid him in the film’s climactic battle.  In addition, we see Gamora, Thor’s mother Frigga, Loki, Red Skull, Korg, and Miek all, at the very least, make cameos. The Ancient One from Doctor Strange also plays a critical role in the plot and explains the dangers of what the Avengers are doing.

At other points in the film, we are treated to smaller appearances by other supporting characters. Aunt May, Happy Hogan, Queen Ramonda, Thunderbolt Ross, Ned, Aunt May and Iron Man 3 supporting character Harley. From the look of all these cameos, Marvel really wanted to this to be the story of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe!
