Here’s the full breakdown of the additional content that’s shown after the credits.
Stan Lee Tribute
The first thing that fans get to see is a short tribute video to the late Stan Lee, who passed away last November at 95-years-old. The tribute presents behind-the-scenes footage of the iconic Marvel writer and producer filming many of his beloved cameos over the years. The clips also incorporate comments from Marvel directors Jon Favreau (Iron Man) and James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy). Lee explains in a voiceover:
“Not only did I not think I would be doing a cameo in such a big movie, I hadn’t dreamed there’d be such a big movie. In those days, I was writing those books, I was hoping they’d sell so I wouldn’t lose my job and that I could keep paying rent.
And in some extra footage shot before his death, Lee says how lucky he has been to be featured in his many cameos:
“I’ve remembered every cameo I’ve done since the first one. I think I’m a very lucky guy.”
Once it concludes, one final message is portrayed on screen: “Stan, We Love You 3000.”
Message From Anthony Russo
The next thing we see is co-director Anthony Russo thanking fans for staying after the credits, as well as set up the audience for seeing a deleted scene. Co-director Anthony Russo says in a short clip before the deleted scene:
“Thanks for sticking around. As you may have noticed we packed a lot into this movie. There are a lot of characters, a lot of action, a lot of emotion, and I think a lot of fun. But believe it or not we shot some scenes that we needed to cut out; I know, the movie could have been even longer.”
Hulk’s Deleted Scene
The following segment is a deleted scene that shows the Hulk saving numerous people from a building fire. The scene is obviously unfinished and the Hulk is not fully rendered. His mouth does not even move whenever he begins to speak. However, this clip does show that Bruce Banner is still saving people and being heroic during the post-snap era.
Sneak Peek Into Spider-Man: Far From Home
After watching through these clips, fans finally get a little taste of the future for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now that Spider-Man: Far From Home is only a few weeks out, we’re given a special look into the final film of phase three. The sneak peek shows basically the first two or three minutes of the highly anticipated sequel and displays the introduction of Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio.
One Final Message
The extra content ends with a final message that simply says, “From All Of Us At Marvel Studios, Thank You.”
