From the look of things, James Cameron was a big influence on the Russo Brothers!
As we all know, the Russo Brothers’ latest film, Avengers: Endgame, broke numerous box office records when it was released earlier this year. The big question on everyone’s mind was if it would be able to dethrone Avatar and become the highest-grossing film of all time. Over the weekend, it finally beat that record.
Avatar has held the record of the highest-grossing film of all time for nearly ten years with a $2,787,965,087 worldwide box office haul. Over the weekend, however, Avengers: Endgame finally ousted Avatar off its throne, with its current box office count at around $2,790,591,417. But, from the look of things, the Russo Brothers are being very professional about the victory.
What do you all make of this? Are you glad that the Russo Brothers are being so nice about the box office triumph? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
