Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes and Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill were among the many victims of Thanos decimation, but fans are suspecting they could also be resurrected if the surviving Avengers’ attempt to undo the Mad Titan’s monstrous act is successful. When asked about how Maria Hill and Bucky Barnes could possibly return, Sebastian Stan simply stated his character is dead:
“Bucky’s dead. Happy New Year. That’s it. That’s all I got.”
Cobie Smulders was also tight-lipped on the detail of Avengers: Endgame, explaining that she doesn’t want Marvel to stop casting her:
“I am terrified. I don’t like talking about this when you’re being recorded. I like doing these movies and if I say things, they won’t ask me to do more movies!”
