The Russo Brothers may not want to spoil us with any more footage from Avengers: Endgame, but the internet certainly will provide us with something to quench our thirst for the time being. A mash-up between December’s trailer and yesterday’s ad that premiered during the Super Bowl has been spotted on Youtube and it perfectly blends all of the next Avengers movie footage into one sweet 3 minute video:
This supercut of all of the released footage up until now will have to do for the time being. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige declared that we will see only the beginning of Endgame in all of the advertisement up until its release in April. This strategy has increased the excitement maybe even beyond what Avengers: Infinity War did last year. That film was loosely based on the events of the famous comic story arc Infinity Gauntlet and people could somehow predict what was going to happen.
Endgame is a new story in its entirety so even the most die-hard fans are trying to wrap their heads around how the story is going to unfold. It’s safe to say that we can expect a lot of these videos and theories about what’s happening next for Earth’s mightiest heroes until we finally see the film in a couple of months.
A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.
Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
