The theory in question goes on for a significant amount of time, discussing the nature of the Infinity Stones with the Time Stone being at the center of it all. In it, a fan speculates that the Avengers have been caught in an endless time loop since the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, citing a line of dialog in the film that came out of nowhere and was never mentioned again. It then goes into the nature of the Time Stone and how this may have worked.
According to the theory, Doctor Strange put them all in a time loop in order for the characters to redo their battle against Thanos over and over again until they eventually win against him, thus breaking the loop. Once again, Ant-Man is a major part of the theory. In it, the character is something of a wild card and the one who gives the Avengers the extra edge to defeat the Mad Titan. You can read the full theory with all of its details and justifications below.
From the look of things, this theory has had all the Avengers trapped in a repeating purgatory without them even knowing it.
What do you all make of this theory? Does it make sense given the nature of the Time Stone? Would it be out of character for Doctor Strange to do such a thing? Is it more interesting than some of the other theories that have been put out there? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
