‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer Reveals Huge Ant-Man Spoiler

Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a.k.a. Ant-Man, fought his way out of the Quantum Realm to appear in the first Avengers: Endgame trailer.

The last time fans saw Ant-Man was during the post-credits scene for Ant-Man and the Wasp. During the scene, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) fall victim to Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) Infinity Gauntlet snap while Ant-Man is in the Quantum Realm. This leaves the bite-sized hero with seemingly no way of getting out of the Quantum Realm, acting as a great cliffhanger until Avengers: Endgame.

In a surprising turn of events, Ant-Man is revealed to have escaped the Quantum Realm and literally shows up at the front door of Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow’s (Scarlet Johansson) hideout. This brings up some interesting questions regarding the escape. Does it happen in the opening scene, or at least early on? Who helped him escape? Is that really him or is this a secret Skrull tease? Presumably, many of these questions are going to be left hanging until the film opens next April but the trailer does present some interesting theories.

In the trailer, some of the remaining heroes are looking at a list of missing Marvel Cinematic Universe icons. Scott Lang appears with a “Missing” near his name alongside Shuri (Letitia Wright) who is also labeled as “Missing.” It’s possible that this could be a tease as to how the hero escaped his horrifying fate, with the aid of the brilliant Shuri, but as of right now any theory is possible.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Avengers: Endgame as soon as more information becomes available. Do you have a theory explaining Scott’s escape from the Quantum Realm? How do you think he was able to find Cap and Widow’s safe house? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters April 26th, 2019.
