‘Avengers: Endgame’ Marketing Will Only Use Footage From The Beginning Of The Film

During a red carpet interview with MTV at the 76th Golden Globe Awards, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed whether or not there was any truth to the rumors that the Avengers: Endgame marketing will only use footage from the beginning of the film.

Avengers: Endgame is set to conclude the first decade of Marvel Cinematic Universe stories and provide the answers to questions fans have had since Thanos decimated the population in Infinity War nearly one year ago. Of course, Marvel Studios is known for withholding the secrets of their films and a new rumor suggested that the marketing material for Endgame will only use footage from the first 15-20 minutes of the film in order to avoid revealing too much. When asked about the validity of the rumors, Kevin Feige characterized the speculation as “somewhat accurate”:

“I’d call it somewhat accurate. As was the case with a lot of our films this one in particular, you know, being able to generate excitement without giving away any of the many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many secrets would be ideal.”
