‘Avengers: Endgame’: Official Artwork Spotlights Warrior Thanos Design

Concept artist Jerad S. Marantz has shared a photo of his warrior Thanos design for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame.

When Thanos finally stepped out of the shadows in Avengers: Infinity War, the Mad Titan spent a considerable amount of time without the armor he was usually seen wearing for his brief cameos beforehand. However, when an alternate version of Thanos from the past discovered the Avengers were attempting to reverse his future counterpart’s eradication of half the population in the universe, the Mad Titan donned his gold armor for a showdown with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

To celebrate the release of the book Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame – The Art of the Movie, concept artist Jerad S. Marantz shared two photos of his warrior Thanos design that give fans a closer look at the Mad Titan’s armor. In the caption, Marantz thanked Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding for giving the opportunity to work on Avengers: Endgame and expressed how proud he is to be part of the team that designed what would become the highest-grossing film of all time.
