‘Avengers’: Chris Evans & Robert Downey Jr. Use Disney Films To Describe Their Friendship

Avengers: Infinity War stars Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. have taken to Twitter to compare their friendship using Disney characters.

While Avengers: Infinity War did not include the Captain America and Iron Man reunion that fans may have been hoping for, actors Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. remain close friends and have used Disney films to compare their friendship on Twitter. The friendly exchange began when Robert Downey Jr. posted a photo of Bambi and Faline from Disney’s straight-to-video sequel to Bambi alongside an image of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Robery Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. “All the way down to the eye color,” Downey Jr. wrote as he compared the Avengers characters to the Disney duo, prompting Chris Evans to respond with an image of Toy Story‘s Woody and Buzz alongside a photo of himself and his co-star in a similar pose. In his response, Evans wrote, “One good Disney reference deserves another…”

Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. will reprise their roles as Captain America and Iron Man, respectively, in the untitled fourth Avengers film.

Avengers 4 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 3, 2019.
