‘Avengers: Infinity War’ & ‘Black Panther’ Win Top People’s Choice Awards

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther earned top honors at 2018 People’s Choice Awards.

Awards ceremony season officially launched with the People’s Choice Awards, in which winners are voted on through an online poll. Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War was named the Best Movie of 2018 and the best Action Movie of 2018 while Scarlett Johansson was voted as the Female Movie Star of 2018. Furthermore, Black Panther earned the Male Movie Star of 2018 title for lead star Chadwick Boseman and Danai Gurira was named the Action Movie Star of 2018.

Black Panther and the Avengers are expected to return in the upcoming sequel to Infinity War.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers 4 is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.

Avengers 4 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 3, 2019.
