'Avengers: Infinity War' Composer Alan Silvestri Says Film Is 'Everything We Could Have Hoped For' after accepting the Icon Award for his work.

Famed composer Alan Silvestri, who has composed music for films like Captain AmericaPredatorForest Gump and Back to the Future, just to name a few, recently accepted the Icon Award at the Film, TV and Visual Media Awards.

During his acceptance speech, Silvestri, who is composing music for the movie, said that next year’s Avengers: Infinity War is “everything we could have hoped for” after having seen early footage from the film.

“I’m still interested in music. I’m still smitten by the development of technology in our business, and what it has provided in terms of possibilities to find new sounds and new ways to bring organized musical content to our work. I’m still enthusiastic.  All the elements of film composing are still fascinating and motivating for me.”

Silvestri has previously composed music for The Avengers movie. The composer is set to begin recording the music for Infinity War in January 2018. It will be intriguing to see if Silvestri ties in any of his music from the first film and use some of it for Infinity War. It could be an extension of the music, but there’s also Avengers: Age of Ultron to consider as well and Silvestri didn’t compose for that film.

What do you think? Are you excited for Alan Silvestri coming back to compose for Infinity War? Let us know in the comments below!
