‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Trailer Recut To Disney/Pixar Characters

The trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has been recut with Disney/Pixar characters.

In a trend that has become surprisingly common, YouTuber SJPLAY has used the audio from the trailer from the upcoming Avengers film played over footage from various Disney/Pixar films.  The result is nothing short of comedic gold.

The entire Avengers: Infinity War trailer edit is full of amusing parallels.  Some of these roles as they relate to the trailer make sense and some do not.  We have Woody who seems to have two roles.  In his first appearance he takes on Loki’s which makes no sense whatsoever and then ends up in the part of Captain America which actually makes a lot of since when you think about the role of the cowboy in popular American culture. We also have Buzz Lightyear as Tony Stark and given the gadgets the two employ it makes perfect sense.

Additionally we have Frozone in the part of Black Panther which can’t help but get a laugh due to Samuel L. Jackson’s actual role in the MCU. The trailer also features a shot from Toy Story 3 where the main characters are running from an army of monkeys that parallels the charge made in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer at its end.

The crown jewel of the entire thing, however, has to be Lotso the Teddy Bear as Thanos. The fact that a Toy Story film could have such a compelling villain was always a bit of a shocker and the way the character was cut over the dialog makes him seem like one heck of an intimidating presence.  You can watch the video down below:
