‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Easter Egg Gives Nod To Farmer Thanos In Comics

A Reddit user has spotted another Avengers: Infinity War easter egg that pays tribute to Thanos’ time as a farmer in the comics.

After Thanos successfully uses the power of the Infinity Stones to erase half of the population in the universe from existence, the Mad Titan arrives on a distant planet to watch the sunrise and take in his victory. In one of the final shots in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos’ armor can be spotted on a scarecrow, a nod to comics in which Thanos uses the same method to protect his crops from would-be trespassers.

Of course, in the comics, Thanos becomes a farmer after Adam Warlock undoes the Mad Titan’s mass extermination.

Thanos will return in next year’s untitled follow-up to Infinity War.
