‘Avengers: Infinity War’: Hawkeye Gets A Fan-Made Poster

Hawkeye’s presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been sort of tragic. In Avengers he was underutilized and wound up as a pawn for Loki, and for a while, it seemed like Marvel was trying to correct that. The character served as the emotional core of Avengers: Age of Ultron,  but faded out of the spotlight soon after that. He had a small part in Captain America: Civil War, but aside from some promotional stills, we have yet to see footage of the character in Avengers: Infinity War. Naturally, this has fans of the character seriously worried about whether he’ll survive, but they’re equally irritated. Hawkeye is a great character and has yet to get his due. Luckily, the fans who support this character are creative enough to promote him on their own.

A Reddit user created a poster for a Hawkeye standalone movie that is both humorous and exciting:

The subtitle for the prospective film pokes some fun at Marvel’s treatment of the character, but could also serve as a pretty interesting set up for a Hawkeye solo film. Seeing the character deal with his status as the least powerful member of the Avengers has always made for some great stories in the comics. Speaking of which, the artist chose to borrow the logo from Matt Fraction’s run on Hawkeye, which is arguably one of the best interpretations of the character we’ve seen. So, anything that looks to that for inspiration would surely make for a great movie.
