‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Tie-In Book Reveals Two More Snap Survivors

Avengers: Infinity War: The Cosmic Quest Vol. 2: Aftermath confirms the survival of Thor characters Dr. Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard) and Darcy (Kat Dennings).

The finale of Avengers: Infinity War featured half of all life in the galaxy ceasing to exist. The moment saw many of the audience’s favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes disintegrating right before their very eyes.  There were many characters whose fate was left off-screen and two of those characters have finally been accounted for.

Dr. Selvig and Darcy debuted in 2011’s Thor as Jane Foster’s (Natalie Portman) colleagues on Earth who are at ground zero of Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) arrival. A new book titled Avengers: Infinity War: The Cosmic Quest Vol. 2: Aftermath follows the duo after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Author Brandon T. Snider posted a photo of the front and back covers of the book via Twitter and it has some interesting info for Marvel fans, such as the survival of Darcy and Selvig, as well as “a new foe who threatens to destroy them all.” Check out the images of the book in the post below.

Both of the characters have had a bit of a hiatus in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but could prove to be important parts of the upcoming phase, or at least Avengers 4. Selvig was last seen in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, in which he helped Thor with a personal mission. Darcy hasn’t appeared in an MCU film since 2014’s Thor: The Dark World.
