Thor Nearly Had A Different Weapon In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

The Avengers: Infinity War art book reveals that Thor almost had a different weapon in the Marvel Studios film.

After his hammer was destroyed by Hela in Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War partly followed the God of Thunder as he embarked on a quest to Nivadellir with Rocket Raccoon and Groot in search of a new weapon powerful enough to defeat Thanos. While his journey eventually resulted in the formation of the Stormbreaker ax, new concept reveals that Thor almost carried a gun instead of the aforementioned weapon.

Thor may have a second chance to defeat Thanos when the Infinity War sequel hits theaters next summer.
