‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Wraps Production

Avengers: Infinity War is officially in the can as directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed that the production had wrapped today with a post on Instagram.

Avengers: Infinity War is officially in the can as principal photography has wrapped on the project.

Production on the film began back in February in Atlanta, GA, and moved on to Edinburgh, Scotland before returning to film more scenes in New York and Atlanta. While plot details remain under wraps, Infinity War will be the culmination of the cinematic universe Marvel has established over the last 9 years as it will feature the Avengers assemble once again along with the Guardians of the Galaxy to take on Thanos, the Mad Titan who was first teased back in 2012 in The Avengers. With filming now over, the cast and crew will shift their efforts to production on Avengers 4 which begins next week. and will last until this December.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed that the production had wrapped today with a post on Instagram.

Avengers: Infinity War is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo with a script from Captain America: Winter Soldier writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautisa, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as well as Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018, and will be followed one year later by Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
