The production start date of the Marvel Studios movie Avengers: Infinity War has been revealed, and it's sooner than you might think.
The internet has been sent so wild with small announcements here and there of characters that will or will not be appearing in the 2018 Marvel epic that it’s almost easy to forget that we have a five other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies to enjoy between the release of Captain America: Civil War and the release of Avengers: Infinity War, one of which we have, of course, already had with the incredibly successful Doctor Strange.
Well, if you thought you were getting enough news on Avengers: Infinity War already, the production start date has just been set, which is when things start to get real. Omega Underground is reporting that the third installment of the Avengers series is set to start production in little over a month’s time on January 23rd 2017. The site also reports that as well as filming in Marvel’s main location of Altanta, GA, the film will also shoot in London, England for an unknown block of time.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest installment, Doctor Strange, can still be viewed in cinemas and you can look forward feasting your eyes upon Avengers: Infinity War on May 4th, 2018. If that seems like a long way off, don’t worry, as between now and then you have Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok in 2017 as well as Black Panther in 2018.
