Iron Man has been involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the beginning, but many are expecting him to meet his end in Endgame. Iron Man almost made the ultimate sacrifice in the first film and also saw a vision of all the Avengers dead in Age of Ultron except him.
Captain America even criticized Iron Man in the first film for being too selfish, but his character arc may result in his death, though Robert Downey Jr. has not officially said Iron Man won’t return after Avengers: Endgame.
