‘Avengers’ Star Jeremy Renner Calls Ex-Wife An Unstable Liar After She Asks Court For Protection

Jeremy Renner and his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco are once again making headlines as the latter is seeking legal protection from the Avengers star during their custody battle for their daughter.

TMZ has revealed that that Sonni Pacheco has filed more documents in the custody battle for her daughter with Avengers star Jeremy Renner. Claiming that she feels threatened by Jeremy Renner after he allegedly put a shotgun in his mouth and threatened to kill her, Sonni Pacheco is asking for protection during the legal battle. Pacheco also claims that Jeremy Renner fired the gun at the ceiling while their daughter Ava was sleeping in a nearby room.

Sonni Pacheco is asking the judge to set aside a room for her, Ava, and Ava’s nanny so they can feel safe there as guns are not allowed in a courthouse. The nanny is also filing a declaration in Pacheco’s petition, stating that she was the reason why Jeremy Renner fired the gun into the ceiling. The nanny claims that the Avengers star said that she would not have the lifestyle she had if he was dead.

Avengers star Jeremy Renner fired back a day later by stating that his ex-wife is an unstable liar who is hell-bent on creating gross allegations against him. In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Jeremy Renner claims that their relationship hit a chaotic point in 2015 when he had no intention of continuing their marriage. Since then, Jeremy Renner claims that Pacheco has been concocting a smear campaign against him by creating false allegations that include him physically and sexually abusing their 6-year old daughter Ava. In the documents, Jeremy Renner notes that Children’s Services “cleared him of any wrongdoing.”

Jeremy Renner’s lawyer also provided evidence that Pacheco allegedly manipulated a photo to show the Avengers star carrying a shotgun in his house while his daughter was sleeping. Jeremy Renner states that this photo is “grossly doctored” and has no merit. Jeremy Renner also disavowed claims that he has a substance abuse issue, as he’s been regularly considered sober thanks to the urine tests he’s been submitting “every other day.”

To end this saga, Avengers star Jeremy Renner states that Sonni Pacheco’s claims that he was going to blow his brains out are absurd and that Pacheco got one of his ex-girlfriends to lie about this for her. In addition, Jeremy Renner states that he’s been the one taking care of Ava the most and that there would be irreparable harm to the child if Pacheco received custody.
