New Avengers: Endgame merchandise from Hasbro's Legends toy line gives us the best look at Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye alter-ego in the film, Ronin. Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye was absent from all of the events in Avengers: Infinity War. Black Widow revealed that Jeremy Renner's Clive Barton took a deal after Captain America: Civil War and went away to live with his family on house arrest. No one really knows what's going on with Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye after Avengers: Infinity War but the introduction of his famous alter-ego from the comic books, Ronin, may give us clues about the direction he's headed. Ronin was first introduced during the events of the famous Marvel storyline Secret Invasion. Although Clive Barton wasn't Ronin at first, which was actually an assassin named Maya López. But fter the death of López, Hawkeye took on the mantle of Ronin later on in the story. Several theories point out that Jeremy Renner's Ronin lost his family, or some part of it, during the Decimation event so now he's rejoining the Avengers in order to avenge them. Although other theories point out that Katherine Langford's character will be none other than Jeremy Renner's Clive Barton daughter Kate Bishop, and that he's been training her to eventually pick up the mantle of Hawkeye. Whether she was a victim of the Decimation event or if she's working with her to avenge his family, is anyone's guess at the moment.
