‘West Coast Avengers’ Artist Teases Secret Marvel Studios Project

Avengers artist Stefano Caselli has taken to social media to tease fans with work on a secret project at Marvel Studios.

Caselli, who is also known for his work on Iron Man and West Coast Avengers comics took to Instagram on Friday to tease fans with his involvement on a project at the studio. You can check out his post below.

Caselli was careful not to reveal which project he’ll be involved with at the studio. Production on all of Marvel’s 2019 films including Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: Far From Home have wrapped. Known future projects from the studio include The Eternals, the Black Widow standalone film starring Scarlet Johannson, and the Black Panther sequel that Ryan Coogler is returning to direct as well as write. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was originally set to begin production in early 2019 but was put on hold after James Gunn was removed from the franchise.

For The Eternals, Chloe Zhao is set to direct from a script written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo. The duo is best known for their spec script Ruin which managed to reach the top of the 2017 Black List. Principal photography is tentatively scheduled to begin in September of 2019. Plot details remain under wraps, however, the story reportedly features a love story between Ikaris and Sersi. Created by Jack Kirby in 1976, the Eternals are a fictional evolutionary offshoot of humanity created by the Celestials over a million years ago. The beings who possess superpowers and longer lifespans were the result of genetic experiments that led to the creation of two divergent races: The Eternals and The Deviants.

The next Avengers film is set to debut this April. Here is the plot synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 26, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we learn it.
