The trailer for the first film in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Far From Home, has finally dropped and audiences have many questions. Since this movie takes place after Avengers: Endgame, fans are theorizing as to what happens in Endgame that shapes the events we see in Far From Home. What seems to be grabbing the attention of fans the most is Peter’s decision to leave behind the suit on his trip to Europe. He states in the trailer that Europe doesn’t need a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. What could be the cause of this decision of Peter? Who in previous films was so enthusiastic to don the suit every time. This fan on Reddit has a few ideas.
What do you think could be the cause of Peter’s decision in the film? Is there perhaps a new Peter in Far From Home that’s different than the one we know? A more traumatized hero? Or did he really just didn’t have time to wash it? Let us know in the comments what you think of these theories and some other theories you might have as well.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.
A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.
Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 26, 2019, while Spider-Man: Far From Home will follow on July 5, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we learn it.
