‘Bad Boys For Life’ Adds Paola Nuñez & Jacob Scipio As Villain

Deadline reports Paola Nuñez and Jacob Scipio have joined the cast of Sony’s Bad Boys for Life.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will reprise their respective roles as Detective Sergeant Mike Lowrey and Detective Sergeant Marcus Burnett in Sony’s Bad Boys for Life, with Mexican actress Paola Nuñez and British born Guyanese actor Jacob Scipio joining them as two key characters. Paola Nuñez will portray Rite, the newly appointed head of AMMO and Mike’s former girlfriend who is described as a “tough and funny criminal psychologist,” while Jacob Scipio will play the “cold-blooded” main antagonist of the film.

Paola Nuñez recently starred in the first season of AMC’s western series The Son and Jacob Scipio just wrapped on Rod Laurie’s film The Outpost.

Bad Boys for Life will follow the Miami PD and its elite AMMO team as they attempt to take down Armando Armas, the head of a drug cartel portrayed by Scipio.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a script written by Peter Craig, Joe Carnahan, and Chris Bremmer, Bad Boys for Life stars Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Paola Nuñez, Jacob Scipio, Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, and Charles Melton.

Bad Boys for Life will be released in theaters on January 17, 2020.
